How much does Prepaid Mobile Broadband cost?
There are 3 pricing options:
A session, whether 1 day, 1 week or 1 month, begins right after you pay for it. You can activate and start a session whenever you are ready to connect. Once a session begins, the clock starts immediately, and will expire in the allotted timeframe.Back to top
When your session expires, you will be disconnected from the network and you will be routed to the Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband Self Activation online portal where you can sign-up for another Prepaid session or sign up for a monthly Mobile Broadband service plan.
Note: Once Prepaid Mobile Broadband allowance or expiration is reached, any session that is in progress will end and any content that is being sent or received may be lost.
How can I pay for a Prepaid Mobile Broadband session?
You may pay for each Prepaid session through VZAccess Manager with a credit card, Verizon Wireless Prepaid Refill card, Verizon Wireless gift card, or DayPass promotional card shipped with qualified equipment or with funds stored in your Prepaid Mobile Broadband Account. Payments can also be made at a Verizon Wireless Store, Bill Payment Kiosk or Prepaid Customer Service.Back to top

You may use any Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband USB modem, ExpressCard®, or notebook with Mobile Broadband Built-In.
Note: The Verizon Wireless UM150 USB modem does not support Prepaid Mobile Broadband at this time.
Prepaid Mobile Broadband sessions can be activated through the Internet on the Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband Self Activation online portal by using the connection manager that came with your Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband certified device. If you do not have software, you can download the latest version of VZAccess Manager from the VZAccess Manager website.
Note: If using VZAccess Manager, Verizon Wireless recommends updating your VZAccess Manager software to the newest version available to have the best user experience.
Before accessing the Internet on your notebook, you must first activate your Prepaid Mobile Broadband session by following the setup instructions.
