How to Get VZ Navigator^SM or VZ Navigator Global on Your HTC Touch Pro2™

VZ Navigator domestic users can purchase service from the device, or through their online portal (My Verizon, My Business Account or Verizon Enterprise Center) to add the feature.

In order to have VZ Navigator Global added to your account, you must have a Global Data Roaming plan on your account. Contact a Verizon Wireless representative at (800) 2 JOIN IN (256-4646), dial *611 from your Verizon Wireless device, or visit a Verizon Wireless store.

1. Turn on Location Services.
   
   Note: If you have not done so already, enable position location on your device.
   
   
   1. From the Home Screen select "Settings".
      
      
   
   
   2. Select "Communications" from the menu.
      
      
   
   
   3. Select "Phone".
      
      
   
   
   4. Select "CDMA Services" tab at the bottom of the screen, and then select "Location Setting" and then select "Get Settings".
      
      
   
   
   5. Toggle to "LOCATION ON" and select "OK". Select the "END" key to return to the home screen.
      
      


2. Open the Web Browser on your device and click on the "Home Page" link. This will load VZW Today.
   
   
   
   Note: If the page above does not appear, enter: "http://wap.vzw.mcore.com/" in the device's web browser.


3. Click "Get Apps" and then select "VZ Navigator" or "VZ Navigator Global" from the list.
   
   


4. To download and install VZ Navigator or VZ Navigator Global:
   
   
   1. Click on the "Download VZ Navigator" link near the bottom of the page.
      
      
   
   
   2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install VZ Navigator or VZ Navigator Global.
      
      


5. Open VZ Navigator Global by going to your home screen and selecting the "VZ Navigator" icon.
   
   


6. The remainder of the application will download and then you will be asked to accept the End User License Agreement.
