How to Transfer Contacts

Download the Backup Assistant Application to your “old” phone.
    1. Select "Get it Now" or "Media Center" from the device’s menu, then select either "Tools on the Go" or "Browse & Download".


    1. Select "Get New Applications".


    1. Select "Business Tools / Information".


  1. Select "Backup Assistant" and press "OK".

After downloading the application follow the instructions for syncing your contacts to the Web.
    1. Complete a full sync of your contact list.

  1. Activate your "new" phone.
  2. Download the Backup Assistant Application to your “new” phone.

      1. Select "Get it Now" or "Media Center" from the device’s menu, then select either "Tools on the Go" or "Browse & Download".


      1. Select "Get New Applications".


      1. Select "Business Tools / Information".


    1. Select "Backup Assistant" and press "OK".



      Note: Backup Assistant will detect that your phone is new (with the same phone number as the old device).
  3. When prompted, enter your PIN code and complete a full restore of your contacts to your new phone.


How to Transfer Games, Tones and PIX

  1. Download "Get It Now Search" on your new device.
  2. Using the Get it Now Search application, refer to the list of Games, Tones and PIX on your old device, and enter each title (one at a time) into the search field and press "OK".
  3. Select the item to download onto your new phone and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the download (NOTE: Charges may apply for downloading).
  4. Repeat step 3 for each of the Games, Tones and PIX that you want to download onto your new phone.

    Note: Not every application is available for every handset.
