LG Chocolate "Sync Music" Connectivity Download Fix Instructions

Before beginning, verify that you have Windows Media Player (WMP) 10 or later installed on your PC. If you are not sure you have WMP 10 or later, please go to Microsoft to download.

If WMP 10 or a later version is already correctly installed on your PC, and the cable is inserted correctly, download the following tool to resolve your connectivity problem.



Download Instructions

From your web browser, go to Phone and Device Support for LG and select the LG Chocolate. At the bottom of the page, in the "Downloads" section, look for the executable file: LG V CAST Music Sync Reset Tool.

Method 1:

  1. Launch "LG V CAST Music Sync Reset Tool".
  2. Click on "Repair".
  3. Confirm that the operation was successful.
  4. Close the tool.
  5. Try to connect the mobile device to PC with Sync Music.
If Method 1 does not fix your problem, please try Method 2.

Method 2:

  1. Launch "LG VAST Music Sync Reset Tool".
  2. Click on "Re-initiate".
  3. Confirm that the operation was successful.
  4. Close the tool.
  5. Try to connect the mobile device to PC with Sync Music.
IMPORTANT: The first sync attempt may fail due to PC's new device recognition. Please re-launch Sync Music after the new device is ready for use.
