My Verizon Mobile is a free* self-serve option that provides customers with information regarding their wireless account anytime anywhere.

Customers do not need to be a Mobile Web subscriber to access My Verizon Mobile, but they still need to access the Mobile Web browser on their handset.

Customers may incur data charges for accessing Mobile Web, if they are not a subscriber.  All other customers will not be charged for visiting My Verizon Mobile.


*Data charges may be assessed for downloading the My Verizon Mobile application.

How do I access My Verizon from my handset?

The way you access My Verizon may vary depending on the device, for example:

WAP (Excluding Devices with the Dashboard Application)

  1. Launch "Mobile Web".
  2. Select "My Verizon" from the VZStart page.
  3. Click "View/Manage your account".

Dashboard Application with WAP Browser

These devices require starting the Dashboard application to launch the web browser.
View Dashboard-compatible devices
  1. Launch the "Dashboard" Application.
  2. Launch "Mobile Web".
  3. Select "My Verizon" from the VZStart page.
  4. Click "View/Manage your account".

WAP – Alternate path (airtime free / no data charges)

  1. Open the "Main Menu".
  2. Choose "Settings & Tools".
  3. Select "My Verizon" (Or "My Account" in older models).
  4. Click "View/Manage your account".
For customers who do not subscribe to Mobile Web accessing My Verizon Mobile is still possible. They can follow the paths outlined in How to Access My Verizon Mobile when Mobile Web Block is On.

PDA/Smartphone

  1. Launch Browser.
  2. VZStart page is displayed. If not, enter the URL http://mobile.vzw.com into browser.
  3. Select "My Verizon" from the VZStart page.
  4. Click "View/Manage your account".

BlackBerry Curve2*

    1. Rich Client Access

      1. Locate the "My Verizon" icon on the main menu, and click on the icon.
      2. Follow the steps to download the application.
      3. Click on the "My Verizon" icon in the main menu again to open the application.
      4. Select "View/Manage your account".

  1. WAP 3.0 Browser Access

    1. Launch the "WAP 3.0" Browser.
    2. Select the "Verizon Services" option.
    3. Select "My Verizon".
    4. Click "View/Manage your account".

BlackBerry Storm2*

The Storm 2 has both a Rich Client application for My Verizon that will be available on the desktop following activation and the WAP 3.0 browser that will have a link to My Verizon from it’s menu. Either method will allow the Storm 2 user to access their account information anywhere, anytime.
    1. Rich Client Access

      1. Locate the "My Verizon" icon on the main menu, and click on the icon.
      2. Follow the steps to download the application.
      3. After download is complete, go to the "Download" folder on the desktop.
      4. Select the "My Verizon" icon to open the application.
      5. Click "View/Manage your account".

  1. WAP 3.0 Browser Access

    1. Launch the "WAP 3.0" Browser.
    2. Select the "Verizon Services" option.
    3. Select "My Verizon".
    4. Click "View/Manage your account".

BlackBerry Tour*

  1. Locate the "My Verizon" icon on the main menu, and click on the icon.
  2. Follow the steps to download the application.
  3. Click on the "My Verizon" icon in the main menu again to open the application.

BlackBerry Storm (only)

The BlackBerry Storm has two paths to download and access My Verizon. Users may receive a My Verizon Icon during a system update that will allow them to quickly and easily download the application. If no icon is received, they may proceed through VZW Today to the download page. Both paths are detailed below:

Desktop Icon

  1. Locate the "My Verizon" icon on the desktop, and select the icon to initiate the download process.
  2. Follow the step by step directions of the download.
  3. Return to the "Download" folder.
  4. Locate the "My Verizon" icon, and select the icon to launch My Verizon.

No Desktop Icon

    1. Launch the browser.

  1. VZW Today should display. If not, go to: http://converge.vzwwap.com.
  2. If this does not display the page, check the browser settings.

    1. Go to "Options".
    2. Set Browser to "BlackBerry Browser".
    3. Try to go to: http://converge.vzwwap.com.
    4. VZW Today should then display.
  3. Select "Get Apps".
  4. Select "My Verizon" (it should be one of the first two items on the list of apps available).
  5. The Download page will display. Click the “Download My Verizon” link.
  6. A reboot will be needed to initialize the program. Once downloaded and rebooted, the program should be available via the “Download” BlackBerry main menu options.

BlackBerry (8130, 8330, 8830)

  1. Launch Browser.
  2. VZStart page is displayed. Select "My Verizon" from the VZStart page.
  3. Download the My Verizon application.
  4. After download is complete, revisit the BB landing page.
  5. Select the "My Verizon" icon, created first time application is downloaded.
  6. Click "View/Manage your account".
Note: *New model of Blackberry Devices will have the icon pre-loaded on the devices.

Motorola Droid

The Motorola Droid will launch with access to My Verizon Mobile via a Widget that can be downloaded from the Android Marketplace. The widget will place an icon on the desktop that will launch the browser directly to My Verizon Mobile.
  1. Locate the "Android Marketplace" icon on the desktop, and click to enter (Registration/Sign in based on your Gmail account).
  2. Select the "My Verizon" download.
  3. Follow download steps for the widget.
  4. After download is complete, go to the desktop on the Droid.
  5. Click the "My Verizon" icon, which will open the browser to My Verizon.
  6. Click "View/Manage your account".

The DROID Eris by HTC with Android browser is not able to access My Verizon Mobile at this time.

 

Apple iPad and iPhone

  1. Select the App Store icon.
  2. Locate the free My Verizon application.
  3. Select My Verizon download and follow prompts.
  4. Once the download is complete, select the My Verizon icon on the home screen to launch the app.
