A
Account ManagerA person granted permission by the Account Owner that allows the person to make changes to the account.
Account OwnerThe person with legal authority and financial responsibility for an account.
Activate a DeviceA My Verizon transaction that allows you to connect a device with a wireless number and the Verizon Wireless network. A device must be activated before it can send and receive voice calls, text messages, and data.
Add a LineTransaction enabling you to add a new line of service to your account.
AlertsA service allowing you to choose to receive periodic text and picture messages about entertainment, sports, news, and weather.
Auto Bill PayA service enabling you to set up automatic recurring monthly payments for your wireless bill.

Billing AddressThe mailing address where you would like your bill sent. This is also the address that will be used to mail important information about your account.
Billing PasswordA password that replaces the last four digits of the Account Owner's Social Security Number as the primary means of authentication on your account. Also called Billing System Password.
Blocked NumbersA feature of Usage Controls, these are phone numbers that are restricted from calling or messaging a line subject to Usage Controls at any time. The subject line will also not be able to call or message those numbers at any time.
Business and Marketing ReportsReports that contain business statistics about groups or categories of our customers. See our FAQs and Privacy Settings pages for more information about these reports and your privacy options.

Content FiltersA service enabling an Account Owner to restrict other account users from accessing content containing strong language, violence and sexual dialogue, based on age-appropriate content ratings.
CPNI SettingsPermission settings enabling an Account Owner to control whether Verizon Wireless shares certain consumer and billing information with its affiliate, agent and parent companies for marketing purposes.

Family LocatorA service, utilizing GPS technology, which enables an Account Owner to view and track the location of devices on his or her account.

LineA wireless number on an account.
Location Privacy SettingsPermission settings enabling an Account Owner to control whether applications have access to the locations of wireless devices on the account.

My Documents and ReceiptsMy Documents and Receipts is a page within My Verizon where your important account documents, receipts and mail-in rebate forms are stored. These documents can be viewed and / or downloaded as PDF files from within My Verizon.
My ProfileThe page in My Verizon where users can update his or her personal, sign in, billing, payment, Alert and privacy information.

Network ProgramsWeb-based applications that use Verizon Wireless network capabilities to perform certain tasks such as locating your device or sending you information via text messaging.
Network Programs & PermissionsPage in My Verizon that allows you to manage your permission settings for each Network Program you have opted in to. Permission settings are specific to a program so you can set a different permission setting for each program.

Paperless BillingAn option allowing you to stop receiving a paper bill in the mail. You will still be able to view your monthly bill online in My Verizon.
Payment AccountsDebit/credit card, checking account information that has been saved and can be used to make a payment.
Payment HistoryInformation about bill payments made over the past 12 months, including dates, methods and amounts.

Secret QuestionA means of verification required when resetting your password online or retrieving your User ID. A user is required to choose a secret question and answer when signing up for My Verizon.
Secure eBillAn option allowing you to receive your monthly billing statement via secure email rather than standard mail.
Service BlocksA feature of Usage Controls that allows the Account Owner to restrict users on the account from purchasing data services including Ringback tones, application downloads and other services.
Single Sign OnService allowing you to access multiple online Verizon portals without having to sign in multiple times.
Spam ControlsA service allowing you to block phone numbers, email addresses domains and text names, preventing them from contacting your wireless device.

Time RestrictionsA feature of Usage Controls that allows the Account Owner to limit and control the use of a device on the account to certain times of day or days of the week.
Trusted NumbersA feature of Usage Controls that allows calling and messaging to and from certain numbers regardless of Usage Limits or Time Restrictions.

UpgradeA transaction enabling the Account Owner to purchase a new device (often times at a discounted price) for one or more wireless lines in an account.
Usage Analysis ReportsReports and charts showing your usage of a variety of call types over a billing period, including most expensive calls, peak hour calls and more.
Usage ControlsA service allowing the Account Owner to set usage restrictions for wireless lines on the account.
Usage LimitsA feature of Usage Controls that enables the Account Owner to limit the voice minutes and messages that can be used by users on the account during a bill cycle.
User IDA personalized ID required when signing in to My Verizon.

Voice Mail PasswordThe verification number that must be entered when accessing Voice Mail (must be 4 to 7 digits).
