Billing Statements Online

General Information

  1. How soon after I enroll in My Verizon will I be able to view my billing statement online?

    If you have already received your first bill before enrolling in My Verizon, then you will be able to see your billing statement online immediately after completing registration. Otherwise the statement will appear 2-3 business days after the end of your first billing period.

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon and go to the My Bill page.

  3. Will my online billing statement look different than my paper bill?

    Yes, it will look different; the online billing statement is just a summary of your bill. However, the printer-friendly bill is a virtual replica of your paper bill.

    To access your printer-friendly bill:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon and go to the Billing Statement page.
    2. Select the month for the bill you want to view.
    3. Click on the View and Print Bill link. The printer-friendly bill will appear.

  4. Can I view usage details for every mobile number in my account online?

    If you are the Account Owner, you will be able to see the usage details for every mobile number in your account. If you are an Account Member, you will not be able to see this information.

  5. Can I view my bill messages online?

    Yes, to view bill messages and other important bill-related messages, click on the Need-to-know Information link under the Bill Summary tab of your online billing statement.

  6. Can I see the name associated with each mobile number on my billing statement?

    No, each line will appear on the billing statement by mobile number, not the name of the person using that line.

  7. How soon will last month's billing statement be available online?

    A monthly billing statement should be available online 5-7 days after that month's bill cycle end date.

  8. Can I view my usage details for the current month online?

    Yes, you can view voice, text messaging and data usage for the current month (bill cycle) from the My Verizon Home page.

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon and go to the My Verizon Home page.
    2. You will see three tabs: Minutes Usage, Text Usage, and Data Usage. Click on the usage type you want to view.
    3. Click on the View Usage link. The current month's unbilled usage will appear.

    Usage details for the current month should appear on your billing statement online in 12 - 24 hours.

  10. How far in the past will I be able to view statements online?

    You can view the current month's billing statement plus statements from the past six months online. Additionally, you can view up to a year's worth of archived bills in PDF* format.

  11. Now that I am viewing my bill online, can I stop having the paper bill mailed?

    Yes, you can update your account with paperless billing.

    To cancel paper bill:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon, and go to the Manage Paperless Billing page.
    2. Follow the instructions to set up paperless billing.

  12. How do I access an archived bill online?

    To access an archived bill:

    1. Access your billing statement online.
    2. Click on the date/year dropdown and select View Archived Bills.
    3. The Archived Bills page will appear. Click on the desired month to view a PDF* version of that bill.

  13. How can I find my bill cycle end date online?

    Your bill cycle end date is displayed in My Verizon as part of your billing statement.

    To find your bill cycle end date:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon and go to the My Verizon Home page.
    2. In the Minutes Usage section, you will see "Cycle ends xx/xx/xx." This is your bill cycle end date. The day number (xx/xx/xx) will be the same each month.

  14. Can I change my bill cycle end date through My Verizon?

    You cannot change your bill cycle end date online. If you need to have your bill cycle end date changed, contact a Customer Service Representative at (800) 922-0204.

  15. What is a billing (system) password?

    When calling in to Verizon Wireless Customer Service, you are asked to provide the last four digits of the Account Owner's Social Security Number (SSN) for authentication purposes. However, the Account Owner can choose to create a custom password to be used instead of their SSN. This is the billing system password.

  16. How can I update my billing system password?

    Note: Only the Account Owner will have access to update the billing system password.

    To update the billing system password:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon and go to the Account Profile page.
    2. In the My Profile section, click on the Edit link under Billing Password.
    3. Enter your current password.
    4. Enter your new password, and then enter it again to confirm.
    5. Click on the Save link. You have successfully updated your billing password.

  17. Am I charged minute usage when calling a toll-free number?

    Yes, when calling a toll-free number you still use airtime minutes. You will only be charged if you go over your monthly usage allowance.

Downloading Statements

  1. Can I download a copy of my billing statement to my computer?

    Yes, you can view and download your monthly billing statement in PDF* form.

    To download a copy of your monthly statement:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon and go to the My Bill page.
    2. In the Billing Statements section, select the month for the billing statement you want to view.
    3. Click on the View and Print Bill link. A PDF version of the billing statement will open up. From here you can save the file to your computer.

    *To view the PDF file, you may need to download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

  2. Can I download my billing data to my computer?

    Yes, you can download billing data in spreadsheet form.

    To download a spreadsheet* of your bill data:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon and go to the My Bill page.
    2. Under the Billing Statement section, click on the Bill Details tab.
    3. If there are multiple lines in your account, select the mobile number for the bill details you want to view.
    4. Click on the Download to SpreadSheet link. The details will open up in a spreadsheet.
    5. Save the spreadsheet to your computer.

    *In order to view the spreadsheet, you need to have Microsoft® Excel® installed on your computer.

Printing Statements

  1. Can I print a copy of my billing statement?

    Yes, you can print out a copy of your monthly billing statement.

    To print a copy of your billing statement:

    1. Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon and go to the My Bill page.
    2. In the Billing Statements section, select the month for the billing statement you want to view.
    3. Click on the View and Print Bill link. A PDF* version of the billing statement will open up. From here you can print the billing statement.
