  1. What is ESPN MVP?

    ESPN MVP is a Get It Now® application that provides exclusive ESPN content for sports fanatics.

    Features include:

    • ESPN Bottomline for updated sports scores and news
    • ESPN Gamecast for up to the second scoreboards and play by play in real-time
    • Hot Corner for featured hot events or topics
    • Video On Demand for the latest sports clips
    • Player Cards for stats, news and information on specific players
    • Favorite Teams for roster, schedule, game, team, league and injury transactions
    • Favorite Columnists for up to 5 of your favorite ESPN columnists to read no matter where you are.

  2. Is the ESPN MVP application available on all handsets? Which ones?

    ESPN MVP will be available on certain Verizon Wireless handsets at launch. These handsets include Motorola RAZR, Motorola KRZR, LG Chocolate®, LG 8300 and LG 8600. Additional handsets will be added over time. Check Verizon Wireless for a current list.

  3. How do I access the ESPN MVP?

    Depending on what handset you have, ESPN MVP is available from the Get It Now® menu under “Get Going” or “Tools on the Go.” Note: Standard airtime charges apply for download.

  4. How much does ESPN MVP cost?

    ESPN MVP is included as part of the $15 V CASTSM VPak which also includes Mobile Web, V CAST videos and unlimited airtime.

  5. Does the time spent on the ESPN MVP application count toward my minutes?

    Because ESPN MVP is only available to customers who subscribe to our V CASTSM VPak, all your minutes spent using ESPN MVP are included.

  6. Do the ESPN MVP alerts count against my text messaging plan?

    Alerts will come out of your text messaging plan. If you do not have a messaging plan, you will be charged 15¢ per message. You must opt-in to receive ESPN alerts.

  8. How do I add my favorite team in ESPN MVP?

    1. Press "Options" (right soft key) to access the options screen.
    2. Select "Favorite Teams" and press "OK."
    3. Select "Add New" and press "OK."
    4. Select your Team Sport choice (i.e. NFL).
    5. Scroll down and select your team (i.e. MIN for Minnesota Vikings, etc.) and press "OK."
    6. Press "Close" (right soft key) and check out your sideline for a new icon representing your favorite team.

  9. How do I view my favorite team content with ESPN MVP?

    1. Press the "left navigational key" to launch the Sideline.
    2. Select the team you want to view and press "OK" to launch the Clubhouse page.
    3. To access additional team content, from the Clubhouse page, press the "left soft key" (TEAM Name Menu).
    4. Use the directional pad to scroll through the following content choices:
      • Clubhouse
      • Roster
      • Injuries
      • Schedule
      • Statistics
      • Transactions
    5. Select the desired content and press "OK" to view that page.

  10. How do I select my favorite players in ESPN MVP?

    1. To set up your Favorite Players, press the left arrow to open to Sideline.
    2. Scroll down the Sideline to select the "Favorite Players" icon.
    3. Press the "OK" button.
    4. To view players for a sport not currently showing on the screen, scroll up until "Others" is highlighted (in the upper right corner of screen).
    5. Press "OK" and scroll down to the sport of choice.
    6. Press "OK" again to load the Favorite Players for the selected sport.
    7. Scroll down and select "Manager Player Tracker."
    8. To add, select "ADD A PLAYER," then select the team and the player name.
      • You can set a maximum of 15 Favorite Players.
      • You will be able to access your Favorite Players by selecting the icon from the Sideline.
      • You will be able to edit your Favorite Players from this page. You can choose to add or delete Favorite Players.

  11. How do I add my favorite columnists in ESPN MVP?

    1. Scroll down the Sideline to select the "Columnists" icon.
    2. From the columnist page, select "Set Columnists" and press "OK."
    3. Select "ADD NEW" and press "OK." You can add up to 3 columnists of your choice.
    4. Scroll through the columnist list and press "OK" to add the columnist to your list.
    5. To delete a columnist you have selected, select "REMOVE" under the name that you want to delete and press "OK."
    6. After favorite columnists have been assigned, the favorites will be the default columnists on the phone.
    7. To change from the list of favorites to another list of columnist, use the drop down menu on the right side of the screen.

  12. How do I access Fantasy Team Management in ESPN MVP?

    To participate in an ESPN.com Fantasy league sign-up via Mobile Web or ESPN.com. Select "Mobile ESPN Fantasy Manager" on Mobile Web to activate or bench players, view player news, trades, team stats and league info.

  13. How do I navigate general news by sport within ESPN MVP?

    1. Scroll down the Sideline to select the "News" icon.
    2. Press the "OK" button.
    3. Wait for the News screen to load.
    4. Use the directional pad to scroll through the content links on the screen.
    5. To view news for a sport not currently showing on the screen, scroll up until "Others" is highlighted (in the upper right corner of screen).
    6. Press "OK" and scroll down to the sport of your choice.
    7. Press "OK" again to load the News for the selected sport.
    8. Scroll to select desired article and press "OK" to load.

  14. How do I view Scores and/or Gamecast in ESPN MVP?

    1. Scroll down the Sideline to select "Scores" icon.
    2. Press the "OK" button.
    3. Scroll through the scores of the default sports displayed.
    4. To view a different sport, scroll the "Up" button until "Others" is highlighted (in the upper right corner of screen).
    5. Press the "OK" button.
    6. Scroll to select the desired sport to view scores or Gamecast content.
    7. You will either see a game in progress, the preview for an upcoming game or the recap of a completed game.
    8. Once in Gamecast, the tabs at top of the screen allow you to navigate deeper into the game experience.
