Can I reprogram my device to skip past Dashboard directly to Mobile Web?
Unfortunately you cannot, as it would require a software update to reprogram the menus to go directly to the Mobile Web instead of launching Dashboard.
If you'd like to change the shortcut key that launches Dashboard, you can choose another existing shortcut option. Exact steps differ by device, but should be similar to these:- Open the device's Menu.
- Go to "Settings & Tools."
- Select "Phone Settings."
- Select "Set Shortcuts."
- Choose the shortcut to change, and press "Set."
- Choose from the list of shortcuts, and press "OK."
-
Will there be a software update to remove the Dashboard application from my device?
No. Your device will continue to have the Dashboard application on it.
