    If you're on an Unlimited Talk Family SharePlan, all lines on the account get Unlimited Anytime Minutes – secondary lines are $49.99 each.

  5. I am on a Nationwide Talk Plan, are the minutes I use calling other countries also unlimited?

    Just calls to other U.S. landline and wireless numbers are unlimited. Standard international long distance rates apply.

  6. I already subscribe to a Verizon Wireless plan, is Mobile Web included in my plan?

    Customers will need to subscribe to a Nationwide Plan to receive Mobile Web at no additional monthly charge. If you are on a Nationwide Plan, you will be charged for megabytes sent or received (including advertising) while using Mobile Web and Media Center. Megabytes (or portions of megabytes) sent or received throughout your billing cycle will be added together at the end of the billing cycle, rounded up to the next full megabyte, and billed at $1.99/MB or according to your Data Package.

  8. Will I be billed for Mobile Web if I have a Nationwide Plan?

    Mobile Web is included with Nationwide Plans. You will not pay a monthly access above and beyond your Plan’s monthly access. You will be charged for megabytes sent or received (including advertising) while using Mobile Web. Megabytes (or portions of megabytes) sent or received throughout your billing cycle will be added together at the end of the billing cycle, rounded up to the next full megabyte, and billed at $1.99/MB or according to your Data Package.

  9. Can I access every site on the web with Mobile Web?

    Although you can enter any URL in your phone’s browser, not all websites are formatted to be viewable on mobile devices.

  10. How am I billed for data?

    You will be charged for megabytes sent or received (including Mobile Web advertising). Megabytes (or portions of megabytes) sent or received throughout your billing cycle will be added together at the end of the billing cycle, rounded up to the next full megabyte, and billed at $1.99/MB or according to your Data Package.

  11. What is a Megabyte?

    A megabyte (abbreviated MB) is a unit of measurement for data. One (1) MB is equal to 1024 Kilobytes (KB).

  12. I’m not sure how much data I will use. Do you have an example of average data usage?

    These examples are estimates based on approximate size assumptions. Usage experience, file sizes, data usage and charges between identical applications will vary. Application charges apply in addition to data sent and received.

  13. Is there a way I can check to see how many megabytes an application is before I download it to my phone?

    Yes, if you are in the Get It Now® / Media Center catalog:

    • Highlight the game or application that you are interested in downloading and press "OK."
    • Scroll down to "INFO" and press "OK."
    • At the bottom of the description, the size of the application is listed.

    Remember, 1024KB = 1MB.

  14. What data package options are available?

    We offer a variety of data packages to meet your specific needs. With a data package, you can:

    • Check personal email on the go with popular Internet-based email accounts, including:

      • Windows Live®
      • Verizon.net

        Personal email is included with all data packages, or is available for $5 per month for basic phones without a data package.

    Data charges apply for all data sent or received using our network, including data used by applications that run in the background. Standard messaging rates apply for messages initiated from an application or game.

    Data packages may not be used to tether your Smartphone or basic phone to a computer or tablet, or as a Wi-Fi® hotspot, unless you subscribe to Mobile Hotspot or Mobile Broadband Connect.

    $10 / 75 MB Data Package is not available with $20 Mobile Broadband Connect / Mobile Hotspot feature.

    Not all applications will be available for download on all devices.

    1 Smartphones require a 2 GB Data Package or higher. When using 4G Smartphones, 4G speeds will be available within 4G coverage. When traveling in the 3G Coverage Area, you can expect download speeds of 600 Kbps–1.4 Mbps and upload speeds of 500–800 Kbps. When traveling in the Extended 3G Coverage Area, you can expect download speeds of 400–700 Kbps and upload speeds of 60–80 Kbps.

    2 The 2 GB Data Package is not eligible for discounts.
