  6. How are outbound calls charged while the Mobile UC Client app is operating in business identity mode?

When you are undocked, your Smartphone will use the mobile network to send and receive calls. Therefore you will be billed according to your wireless service plan.

Docked calls do not use mobile minutes. Your Smartphone connects to your business’ landline while docked, so calls are charged according to your normal PBX calling rate.

  8. Will Mobile UC Client send all of my business and mobile voice mail messages to one voice mail system?

Mobile UC Client does not merge your business and mobile voice mail platforms into a single voice mail system. Each of your phone numbers (business and mobile) will have its own voice mail box.

However, calls may be routed to different voice mailboxes based on whether your Smartphone is docked or undocked:

    • While docked, all calls will be sent to your business voice mailbox, even if the call was made to your mobile number. This is because all calls are being routed through your business line rather than using the wireless network.

    • While undocked, calls to either your business or mobile number will be sent to their respective voice mailboxes. You will need to check each voice mail system separately.
