Description

VZ Navigator provides all the features of an advanced navigation system on your device at a fraction of the price of other Global Positioning Services (GPS) devices and systems. VZ Navigator provides:

  • Heads-up, voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions with auto re-routing if you miss a turn.
  • Local search of nearly thirteen million points of interest (POIs) in the U.S.A.
  • Detailed color maps that can be quickly panned and zoomed.

To determine your version, open the VZ Navigator application on your device – the version number will appear on the opening screen.

How to Get It

To use the service, you'll need a VZ Navigator-enabled phone, which can be purchased online at verizonwireless.com.

Follow these steps to download the VZ Navigator application from a handset:

  • Go to the Get it Now® or Media Center Shop on your phone.
  • Find VZ Navigator in the Get Going section under "Travel & Guides" or "Featured Apps."
  • Download VZ Navigator.

  • For feature phones use the VZ Navigator Menu option on your device to check for updates.
  • For Smartphones (Android, Android Tablets, iPhone and RIM):

Will using VZ Navigator® drain my battery?

As with all applications, VZ Navigator uses battery power to provide service. In order to optimize battery life we suggest using a car charger when navigating.
