  5. What can I do to block access to music labeled "EXPLICIT"?

There are currently two ways to block or filter “EXPLICIT” labeled content from being either previewed or purchased.

      1. As an account holder, you can activate content filtering to a particular line on your account that you want to restrict. This will prevent the preview and/or purchase of “EXPLICIT” labeled content from the phone and the Media Store.

    1. As an account holder, you can add a “Music Block” to the particular line on your account that you want to restrict. This will prevent access to the V CASTSM Music catalog from the phone associated with that line. It will also prevent that line from logging into the Media Store website, although please note that “EXPLICIT” labeled content may be previewed in the Media Store without logging in.
Account holders with multiple lines associated with their accounts (e.g. on a FamilyShare® plan) may choose to filter or block all lines or only specified lines on their accounts. Once added, the filter or block may be removed only at the request of the account holder.

To activate content filtering or add Music Block, please call customer care at (800) 922-0204 or *611 from your mobile phone or request these changes at any of our retail stores.

If, with the same $10.00 account balance, you purchased a V CAST song for $2.98 (99¢ download fee + $1.99 for the song), your new balance would be $7.02.
