From the computer to the device

Only DRM free / unprotected video can be transferred via this method. DRM protected content will not play on this device.

If using a Macintosh computer, additional software is required in order to transfer files.

1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
   1. If necessary, select and hold the status bar (located at the top) then drag to the bottom.
   2. Select Connected as a camera / mass storage.
   3. Select Media device (MTP).
      Selected when a check mark is present.
2. Launch Windows Explorer.
   Using the computer keyboard, press Windows+E ( +E ) keys.
   Alternatively, right-click Start then click Explore.
3. Using Windows Explorer, navigate: DROID RAZR HD > Internal Storage.
   If an SD card is present, music files can be transfered to that location by navigating: DROID RAZR HD > SD card.
4. Utilize the computer to copy video / picture files into the appropriate directory:
   • Movies
   • Pictures
5. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.

From the device to a removable SD card

1. From a home screen, select Apps ( located at the bottom).
2. From the Apps tab, select Files.
3. Select Device storage.
4. Select DCIM.
5. Select Camera.
6. Select Menu ( located at the bottom).
7. Select Select items.
8. Select the desired image(s) / video(s).
   Selected when highlighted.
9. Select Copy or Move (located at the bottom).
10. Select the copied / selected item dropdown menu ( located at the top).
11. Select SD card.
12. Select the preferred folder then select Copy / Move (located at the top).
    To create a folder:
    1. Select Menu ( located in the lower right).
    2. Select Create new folder.
    3. Enter the desired folder name then select OK.
