Memory Card Inserting / Removing - DROID RAZR M by MOTOROLA

The Motorola DROID RAZR M XT907 supports microSD (TransFlash) memory cards. A microSD card can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.

Insert the memory card

1. Ensure the device is powered off.
   1. To power off, press and hold the Power button.
      
   2. Select Power off.
      
   3. Select OK.
      Allow several seconds for the device to power off.
      
2. With the display facing downward, open the access cover (located on the left side of the device).
   Utilizing the notch, carefully lift then rotate the cover away from the microSD card slot.
   
3. With the gold contacts facing up, insert the memory card as shown.
   Press in on the card until it locks into place (figure 2).
   
4. Close the access cover.
   Press in on the cover to lock it into place.

Remove the memory card

1. From a home screen, select Apps.
   
2. From the APPS tab, select Settings.
   
3. From the DEVICE section, select Storage.
   
4. From the SD CARD section, select Unmount SD card.
   
5. Select OK.
   
6. Press and hold the Power button.
   
7. Select Power off.
   
8. Select OK.
   Allow several seconds for the device to power off.
   
9. With the display facing downward, open the access cover (located on the left side of the device).
   Utilizing the notch, carefully lift then rotate the cover away from the microSD card slot.
   
10. Remove the memory card.
    Press in to unlock the card (figure 1) then slide it out of the memory card slot.
    
11. Close the access cover.
    Press in on the cover to lock it into place.
