Enable / Disable / Modify the SIM PIN - Verizon Jetpack™ 4G LTE Mobile HotSpot - MiFi® 4620L
Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so that it cannot be used until the correct code is entered. If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, a PIN Unlock Key (PUK) must be obtained from Verizon Wireless.
- Access the Administration Web Interface.
- From the Network tab, click SIM.
Enable / Disable SIM PIN
Modify SIM PIN
- From the SIM Operation field, select Lock SIM / Unlock SIM.
- From the Current PIN field, enter the current SIM PIN then click Apply (located in the lower-left).
The default SIM PIN is 1111.
If the SIM has previously been blocked and subsequently reset using the PIN Unlock Key (PUK), the default SIM PIN is 0000.
The SIM card must be locked (SIM PIN enabled) in order to change the current SIM PIN.
- From the SIM Operation field, select Change PIN.
- Enter the appropriate PIN into the following fields then click Apply:
The default SIM PIN is 1111.
If the SIM has previously been blocked and subsequently reset using the PIN Unlock Key (PUK), the default SIM PIN is 0000.
- New PIN
- Verify New PIN
- Current PIN
- Click OK.
