Update Firmware - Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile HotSpot MiFi 4510L

  1. Connect to the Internet then navigate to the Verizon Wireless Home page.
  2. In the Search field (located in the upper right), enter 4510l update then press Enter.

  3. If presented, enter the appropriate Zip Code or select a state then click Set Location.

  4. Click Advanced Devices - Software Updates.

  5. From the Verizon Wireless section, click Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi 4510L.

  6. Click Software Update Instructions.

  7. Select the appropriate operating system:
    Macintosh

  1. From step 2 of the System Update Instructions for Mac users section (page 7), click the http://production.4510.verizon.mifiupdates.com/Mac/MiFi4510LMac.zip link.

  2. Navigate to the downloaded folder: [userhome] > Downloads > MiFi4510LMac then double-click 3G_Drivers_v3.0.24-PS.pkg.
    Note Userhome folder name will vary, i.e. verizonwireless.

  3. Click Continue.

  5. Click Agree.

  8. If presented, enter password then click Install Software.

  11. Connect the MiFi 4510L to the computer using a USB cable.
  12. Navigate to the downloaded folder: [userhome] > Downloads > MiFi4510LMac then double-click DUU_Verizon_MiFi4510L_FW2.23.
    Note Userhome folder name will vary, i.e. verizonwireless.

  13. If presented, click Ok.

  16. Review the License Agreement, ensure I agree to the terms and conditions is selected then click Next.

  1. From step 2 of the System Update for Windows users section (page 3), click the http://production.4510.verizon.mifiupdates.com/Windows/MiFi4510LWin.zip link.

  2. Click Save.
    Note Note the location.

  3. Navigate to, then double-click the downloaded MiFi4510LWin.zip file.

  4. Ensure the MiFi4510LWin file is selected then click Extract all files.

  6. Double-click MiFi4510LWin file.

  7. Click Next.

  10. Connect the MiFi 4510L to the computer using a USB cable. Allow time for Windows to complete the driver installation then click OK.

  13. Review the License Agreement, ensure I agree is selected then click Next.
