SIM Card - Inserting / Removing - Galaxy Nexus by Samsung

Do not attempt to insert or remove the SIM card with the battery still installed in the device. Doing so can harm the SIM card and/or the device.

Insert the SIM card

1. Ensure the device is powered off.
   1. To power off, press and hold the Power button.
      
   2. Select Power off.
      
   3. Select OK.
      Allow several seconds for the device to power off.
      
2. Remove the battery cover.
   Utilizing the provided slot, carefully lift then detach the cover.
   
3. Utilizing the notch, lift then remove the battery as shown.
   
4. With the gold contacts facing down and the notch located in the upper-left, insert the SIM card as shown.
   Press in on the card until it locks into place (figure 3).
   
5. Insert the battery as shown.
   Ensure that the connectors on the battery align with the connectors on the device.
   
6. Replace the battery cover.
   
7. Press in on the cover to lock it into place.

   2. Select Power off.
      
   3. Select OK.
      Allow several seconds for the device to power off.

3. Utilizing the notch, lift then remove the battery as shown.
   
4. Press in then remove the SIM card as shown.
