Manage Contacts - DROID RAZR / RAZR MAXX by MOTOROLA

From a home screen, select People (located at the bottom).
If unavailable, navigate: Apps ( located at the bottom) > People.

Add a contact
Delete a contact
Edit a contact
Add a pause / wait
Set a ringtone

Add a contact

Select Menu ( located at the bottom).
Select New ( located at the bottom).
If presented, select an account then select OK.
Enter any of following information then select Save (located at the top).
To view additional options or to add an entry, select the dropdown menu ( ) or add symbol ( ) associated with the option.
- Name
- Phone
- Email
- Address
- Events
- Groups
- Add another field
  - Phonetic name
  - IM
  - Notes
  - Nickname
  - Website
  - Internet call
  - Relationship

Delete a contact

Select and hold a contact.
If the contact is not displayed, select Menu > Display options then ensure the appropriate contact group is selected.
Select Delete.
Select OK.

Edit a contact

Select a contact.
If the contact is not displayed, select Menu > Display options then ensure the appropriate contact group is selected.
Select Menu ( located at the bottom).
Select Edit.
Edit any of following information then select Save (located in the upper-right).
To view additional options or to add an entry, select the dropdown menu ( ) or add symbol ( ) associated with the option.
- Name
- Phone
- Email
- Address
- Events
- Groups
- Add another field
  - Phonetic name
  - IM
  - Notes
  - Nickname
  - Website
  - Internet call

Adding a pause / wait

Select a contact.
If the contact is not displayed, select Menu > Display options then ensure the appropriate contact group is selected.
Select Menu.
Select Edit.
Select a number.
Ensure that the cursor (where the pause / wait is to be inserted) is placed in the appropriate position.
Select * #.
Select one of the following:
Repeat this step as necessary.

Pause
Inserts a 2-second pause between the number dialed and the additional numbers.
Wait
Inserts a hard wait that will cause the system to wait for additional input before continuing.
Select Save (located in the upper-right).

Set a ringtone

Select a contact.
If the contact is not displayed, select Menu > Display options then ensure the appropriate contact group is selected.
Select Menu ( located at the bottom).
Select Set ringtone.
Select a ringtone then select OK.
