Manage iCloud Backup Options - Apple® iPhone® 4S

Note iCloud requires iOS 5 or later on an iPhone 4 or later ; a Mac computer with OS X Lion; or a PC with Windows Vista or Windows 7 (Outlook 2007 or 2010 or an up-to-date browser is required for accessing email, contacts, and calendars). Some features require a Wi-Fi connection. Some features are not available in all countries. Access to some services is limited to 10 devices.

Note iCloud is only available on a device using software version iOS5 or later. To determine Device Software Version, refer to View Software Version.

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.

  2. Select iCloud.

  3. If prompted, enter the Apple ID and password then select Sign In.

  4. Select iPhone.

  5. Drag the switches left or right to enable / disable desired data to backup.
    Note Enabled if set to On.

  6. Select Manage Storage.

  7. Select Storage & Backup.

  8. Select Backup Now to immediately add / remove the data.

Device Software Version iOS 6

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select iCloud.
  3. If prompted, enter the Apple ID and password then select Sign In.
  4. Drag the switches left or right to enable / disable desired data to backup.

  5. Select Storage & Backup.
  6. Select Manage Storage.
  7. Select the iPhone.
  8. Drag the switches left or right to enable / disable desired data to backup.

  9. Select Manage Storage.
  10. Select Storage & Backup.
