iCloud Settings - Apple® iPhone® 4S

Note iCloud requires iOS 5 or later on an iPhone 4 or later ; a Mac computer with OS X Lion; or a PC with Windows Vista or Windows 7 (Outlook 2007 or 2010 or an up-to-date browser is required for accessing email, contacts, and calendars). Some features require a Wi-Fi connection. Some features are not available in all countries. Access to some services is limited to 10 devices.

  1. From the home screen, select Settings.

  2. Select iCloud.

  3. If prompted, enter the Apple ID and password then select Sign In.

  4. If prompted to merge, select Merge.
  5. If prompted to allow iCloud to use the location of your iPhone, select the option.
    • Don't Allow

  6. Drag the switches left or right to enable / disable iCloud options.
    Note Enabled if set to On.

    • Contacts
    • Calendars
    • Reminders
    • Bookmarks
    • Notes
    • Find My iPhone

  7. Select Photo Stream.

  8. Drag the switch left or right to enable / disable Photo Stream.
    Note Enabled if set to On.
    Note Photo Stream automatically uploads new photos to iCloud and downloads them to all of your devices when connected to iCloud.

  9. Select iCloud (located in the upper left corner of screen).

  10. Select Documents & Data.

  11. Drag the switch left or right to enable / disable Documents & Data.
    Note Enabled if set to On.
    Note Allow apps to store documents and data in iCloud

  12. Drag the switch left or right to enable / disable Use Cellular.
    Note Enabled if set to On.
    Note When not connected to Wi-Fi, use cellular network to transfer documents and data.

  13. Select iCloud (located in the upper left corner of screen).
