SIM Card - Inserting / Removing - DROID 3 by Motorola

Note Do not attempt to insert or remove the SIM card with the battery still installed in the device. Doing so can harm the SIM card and / or the device.

Insert the SIM card

Insert the SIM card

  1. Power the device off.
    Note Press and hold the Power button then select Power off.
  2. Gently pull the cover open from the gap at the top of the phone
    Remove battery cover
  3. Remove the battery as shown.
    Remove battery
  4. With the gold contacts facing down, insert the SIM card as shown.

  5. Insert the battery as shown.
    Note Ensure that the connectors on the battery align with the connectors on the device.

  6. Replace the battery cover.
    Note Align the bottom edge of cover then gently press into place.

  4. Remove the SIM card.
  5. Insert the battery as shown.
    Note Ensure that the connectors on the battery align with the connectors on the device.

  6. Replace the battery cover.
    Note Align the bottom edge of cover then gently press into place.
