Memory Card Inserting / Removing - DROID CHARGE™ by SAMSUNG

The DROID CHARGE by SAMSUNG supports microSD (TransFlash) memory cards. A memory card is included and pre-installed with the device. Additional microSD cards can be purchased from any Verizon Wireless retail store or at the online store.

Insert the memory card

1. Press and hold the Power button.
   
2. Select Power off.
   
3. Remove the battery cover.
   Utilizing the provided slot (figure 1), carefully lift then detach the cover.
   
4. With the gold contacts facing down, insert the memory card as shown.
   Press in on the card until it locks into place.
   
5. Replace the battery cover.
   Starting from the top of the device, press in on the cover to lock it into place.

Remove the memory card

1. From the home screen, select Applications.
   
2. Select Settings.
   
3. Select SD card & phone storage.
   
4. Select Unmount SD card.
   If presented Unmounting SD card will stop some applications from functioning, select OK.
   
5. Press and hold the Power button.
   
6. Select Power off.
   
7. Remove the battery cover.
   Utilizing the provided slot (figure 1), carefully lift then detach the cover.
   
8. Press in then remove the memory card as shown.
   
   
9. Replace the battery cover.
   Starting from the top of the device, press in on the cover to lock it into place.
