Reprovision Cellular Data Account – Apple® iPad®
If a Cellular Data activation fails, the account may need to be reprovisioned.
WiFi must be disabled before attempting to reprovision the cellular data account. For assistance verifying that WiFi is disabled, refer to WiFi On / Off.
- From the Home screen, select Settings.
- Select General.
- Select Reset.
- Select Subscriber Services.
- If prompted, enter the 4-digit passcode.
If the passcode is forgotten, the iPad will need to be restored to original default settings. Refer to Apple article: # HT1414 - iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software for assistance.
- Select Reprovision Account.
The reprovisioning process may take several minutes to complete.
After reprovisioning the account, verify Verizon and signal bars appear in the status bar, then restart the device before attempting activation.
