Create Apple ID - Apple® iPhone® 4

Device Software Version iOS 4 / iOS 5

1. From the home screen, select Settings.
   
2. Select Store.
   
3. Select Create New Apple ID.
   
4. Select the Store field.
   
5. Select the country or region then select Done.
   
6. Review the license agreement then select Agree.
   
7. Select Agree.
   
8. Select the Email field.
   
9. Enter an existing email address.
   This will become the Apple ID.
   
10. Enter a password then select Next.
    Password must be at least eight characters, including a number, an uppercase letter and a lowercase letter.
    
11. Enter a question to verify identity if the password is forgotten, then select Next.
    The question must be at least 6 characters.
    
12. Enter the answer to the previously entered question then select Next.
    
13. Select the date of birth month then select Next.
    
14. Select the day of birth then select Next.
    
15. Enter the year of birth then select Done.
    
16. Drag the Subscribe switches left or right to enable / disable receiving news, itunes releases, special offers, itunes additions, etc. then select Next.
    
17. Enter the Payment Method information.
    • Credit card type
    • Credit card number
    • Credit card security code
    
18. Enter the Expiration Date information and any iTunes gift card or certificate codes.
    
19. Enter the Billing Address information.
    • Salutation (e.g. Mr, Mrs, etc.)
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Address
    • City
    • State
    • Zip Code
    
20. Enter the phone number then select Next.
    
21. A verification email will be sent to the email address associated with the Apple ID account.
    
22. Open the verification email from the given email account then select Verify Now.
    
23. Enter the Apple ID (email address) and password then select Verify Address.
    
24. The email address will be verified.

1. From the home screen, select Settings.
2. Select iTunes & App Stores.
3. Select Create New Apple ID.
4. Select the Store field.
5. Select the country or region then select Done.
6. Select Next.
7. Review the license agreement then select Agree.
8. Select Agree.
9. Select the Email field.
10. Enter an existing email address.
    This will become the Apple ID.
11. Enter a password then select Next.
