Restore contacts - Backup Assistant - DROID INCREDIBLE by HTC

Note When restoring the address book, Backup Assistant compares and merges any contact information on the new device with the stored information on the Backup Assistant website. If there is conflict between the new device and the website, the device data is assumed to be more current and will override the data on the website.

  1. From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located in the lower-left).

  2. Touch Settings.

  3. Touch Accounts & sync.

  4. Touch Backup Assistant.

  5. Enter the 4-8 digit PIN then touch Next.
    Note If the PIN is incorrectly entered 3 times, the account will be locked for 15 minutes.
    Note If the PIN is forgotten, sign in to the Backup Assistant account by going to http://www.verizonwireless.com/backupassistant then click on View PIN to retrieve the PIN.
    Enter PIN then touch Next
  6. Touch OK.
