Setting the unlock pattern

  1. From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located in the lower-left).

  2. Touch Settings.
    Settings
  3. Touch Security.
    Security
  4. Touch Set unlock pattern.

  5. If presented, touch Next.
    Next
  6. If presented, touch Next.
    Next
  7. Touch and draw a pattern on the screen connecting at least four dots then touch Continue.

  8. Redraw the unlock pattern then touch Confirm.

Unlocking the wireless device if a lock pattern is set

  1. If the display is dark press the Power key.

  2. Touch the unlock pattern on the screen.
    Draw unlock pattern

Note If the device unlock pattern is forgotten and the Gmail credentials are not available, a hard reset will need to be performed. Refer to Hard Reset - DROID INCREDIBLE by HTC for additional information.

  1. If the display is dark press the Power key.

  2. Touch then drag the lock symbol to the bottom of the screen.
