Placing an Alert call

  1. Press the Push to Talk key.
    Note Alternatively, from the Home screen press Menu > (Downloads) > Push to Talk.

  2. Select the contact then press the Menu button Select Alert contact.

  3. The PTT Alerting contact is displayed.

  4. Receiving contact accepts the call, then Connected is displayed.

  5. Press and hold the PTT Key when the Talking screen is displayed begin speaking while continuing to press the PTT key.

  6. Release the PTT key when finished speaking.

Receiving an Alert call

  1. The Incoming Alert tone will sound and an Incoming PTT Alert screen is displayed, press the PTT key to accept the call.

Placing a Barge call

  1. Press the Push to Talk key.

Receiving a Barge call

  1. The Barge tone will sound, Listening to contact is displayed while the caller is speaking.

  2. When the caller has finished speaking the Connected screen is displayed.

  3. Press and hold the PTT Key when the Talking screen is displayed begin speaking while continuing to press the PTT key.
