Hard Reset - Motorola Devour A555

Warning Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings and downloaded applications. Only perform this reset if absolutely necessary.

Note When attempting to determine if a 3rd party application is the cause of an operating system / application issue on a device that does not support Automatic Restore, skip the Google Account setup during the initial setup of the device.

 

 

 

Preferred method

  1. From the home screen, select the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select SD card, USB Mass Storage, & phone storage.

  4. Select Factory data reset from the Internal phone storage section.

  6. Select Erase everything.

  1. Press and hold the Power button.

  3. Slide the keyboard open.

  4. Press and hold the Space key+R key+Power button simultaneously until the Recovery screen (exclamation point inside of a triangle) appears.

  5. From the Recovery screen, press the Z+M keys.
