Soft Reset - Palm® Pixi™ Plus

Note A soft reset is the most useful tool for resolving a variety of issues. In most cases, a soft reset will not affect the data on the device, unless the battery is very low. Nevertheless, it is good practice to perform a sync operation before any reset to ensure that your data is backed up.

Note Remove / disconnect all third party devices (e.g. SD Card, headset, etc.).
 

 

 

Soft Reset
  1. Press and hold the power button.
    Press and hold the power button
  2. Touch Power.
    Touch Airplane Mode
  3. Touch Restart.
    Touch Restart

 

 

 

 

Hardware Switch Reset
  1. Press and hold the power button.
    Press and hold the power button
  2. While holding the power button, slide the ringer switch back and forth three times.
    While holding the power button, slide the ringer switch back and forth three times
  3. Release the power button.
    Note The device will reset.
