To Reset Your Voice Mail Password Online:

Note This method requires logging into My Verizon. To establish a profile, refer to Register for My Verizon.

  1. Navigate to the Verizon Wireless website, enter User ID or Cell Phone Number and Password then click Sign In.
  2. Navigate My Verizon > Reset Voice Mail Password (under My Device).
  3. Enter the new password, re-enter the new password then click Submit.
    If needed, ensure the appropriate mobile number is selected.
    Passwords must be between 4 - 7 digits.

To Reset the Voice Mail Password from the Wireless Handset:

  1. Press *611 then press SEND (airtime is free).
  2. Listen to the instructions then when prompted, press 4 (One-Bill customers press 5).
  3. Listen to the instructions then when prompted say "Reset voicemail password".
  4. If prompted, enter the requested information for security verification.
  5. Follow the prompts to reset the password.
OR
  1. Call (800) 922-0204 (toll free) from any phone to reach the easy-to-use automated customer service menu.
  2. Listen to the instructions then when prompted, press 4.
  3. Listen to the instructions then when prompted say "Reset voicemail password".
  4. If prompted, enter the requested information for security verification.
  5. Follow the prompts to reset the password.
