To Reset Your Voice Mail Password Online:
This method requires logging into My Verizon. To establish a profile, refer to Register for My Verizon.
- Navigate to the Verizon Wireless website, enter User ID or Cell Phone Number and Password then click Sign In.
- Navigate My Verizon > Reset Voice Mail Password (under My Device).
- Enter the new password, re-enter the new password then click Submit.
If needed, ensure the appropriate mobile number is selected.
Passwords must be between 4 - 7 digits.
To Reset the Voice Mail Password from the Wireless Handset:
- Press *611 then press SEND (airtime is free).
- Listen to the instructions then when prompted, press 4 (One-Bill customers press 5).
- Listen to the instructions then when prompted say "Reset voicemail password".
- If prompted, enter the requested information for security verification.
- Follow the prompts to reset the password.
- Call (800) 922-0204 (toll free) from any phone to reach the easy-to-use automated customer service menu.
- Listen to the instructions then when prompted, press 4.
- Listen to the instructions then when prompted say "Reset voicemail password".
- If prompted, enter the requested information for security verification.
- Follow the prompts to reset the password.
- Press *611.
- Press SEND (airtime free) to reach a service center.
