Uninstalling/Reinstalling VZAccess® Manager - Windows®
- Ensure the wireless device is disconnected from the computer.
- Launch Uninstall a program:
- Windows® 8
- From any screen, press the Windows key + X (
+X ).
- Click Control Panel.
- Click Uninstall a program.
- From any screen, press the Windows key + X (
- Windows® 7/Vista
- From the Windows desktop, click Start.
- Click Control Panel.
- Click Uninstall a program.
- Windows® XP
- From the Windows desktop, click Start.
- Click (Settings) Control Panel.
- Click (Programs and Features) Uninstall a Program.
- Windows® 8
- Ensure VZAccess Manager is selected then click (Change/Remove) Uninstall/Change.
- If presented with Are you sure you want to uninstall VZAcess Manager, click Yes.
- If presented with Select Uninstall Method screen, ensure Automatic is selected then click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Repeat step 3 to uninstall the device drivers.
Device drivers may vary depending upon the device installed, (e.g. SAMSUNG Mobile USB DRIVER, Mobile Broadband Generic Drivers, PANTECH PC USB Modem Software, etc.).
- Restart the computer.
Refer to Restarting the operating system for additional assistance.
- Reinstall VZAccess® Manager via the appropriate method.
Ensure the latest supported version for the device and operating system is being installed.
