Exporting contact / address book information to a comma separated values (*.csv) file - Microsoft® Outlook / Outlook Express / Windows Mail
A comma separated values (.csv) file is a text file that contains rows of data that are separated by commas.

- Open Microsoft® Outlook Express / Windows Mail, then click File > Export > Address Book.
In Windows Mail, click File > Export > Windows Contacts.
- In the Address Book Export Tool dialog box, click Text File (Comma Separated Values) then click Export.
In Windows Mail, click CSV (Comma Seperated Values).
- In the Save exported file as: field, enter a file name for the exported Address Book file then click Browse.
- In the Save in: field, specify a location in which to save the file.
- In the Save as type: field, select Comma Separated Values (*.csv) then click Save.
- Click Next.
- Ensure the desired exports fields are selected then click Finish.
- When prompted, click OK to confirm the export procedure has completed.
- Click Close to exit the Address Book Export Tool dialog box.
- Open Microsoft® Outlook, then click File > Import and Export.
- Select Export to a file then click Next.
- Select Comma Separated Values (Windows) then click Next.
- In the folder list, select the Contacts folder then click Next.
- Browse to the target folder to save .csv file.
- Enter a name for the exported file then click OK.
- Click Next > Finish.
