Understanding My Bill
What are Monthly Access Charges?
Monthly access charges are fixed monthly charges based on your plan and optional services. Many plans include a set allowance of minutes and data that you can use any time during the month as part of these charges.
If you change your plan or services in the middle of your monthly bill cycle, an adjusted amount that includes partial month charges or credits may appear on your bill.
If you have the Share Everything® Plan, the monthly access charges on your account will vary based on the type of device assigned each line.
What are Verizon Wireless Charges?
Verizon Wireless charges include "Surcharges" and "Other Charges and Credits". "Surcharges" recover or help defray the cost of taxes and other charges and fees imposed on us by the government. "Other Charges and Credits" include charges for products and services and credits owing.
What are Usage Charges?
Usage Charges are charges for voice minutes, text messages or data usage that exceed your monthly allowances as stated in your plan.
What Taxes are included on my bill?
The taxes section of your bill includes sales, excise and other taxes, governmental surcharges and fees that we are required by law to bill customers.
